The Colour Your Life with Arts on Prescription service is a �social prescription� for the management of mental health and wellbeing.
As part of the arts on prescription service, Leisureworks have been working closely with their partners at One Point and The Activity Den to start exciting creative courses for Autumn 2013 (no prior skills are required and all materials provided):

Aspire Learning, Support and Wellbeing, working in partnership with Washington Mind, is holding a free 10 week programme around drug awareness.
This course will introduce you to different types of drugs. You will learn about the effects of drug misuse and the impact on the individual and others. You will also explore what help and support is available.

The Princes Trust Fairbridge Programme is pleased to announce the next 16+ Access course will be starting on the 23rd September 2013.
The courses do begin to fill up quick so to avoid disappointment book an induction. This is a 5 day intensive personal and social skills development course using outdoor activities.? The five main skills are:
- Working with others
- Setting and achieving goals
- Managing feelings
The course is match funded by their fundraising team, so the course cost to young person is FREE.? To be eligible the young person must be 16 to 25 years old not in training or education (more than 12 hours a week) or working (more than 16 hours).?
The course does not affect any benefits you are currently receiving. On completion of the course the young person would have access to their Follow-On programme.

Realising your Income Potential is a free Sector Connector workshop taking place on Wednesday 25 September. The workshop is being delivered by Ugly Duck Consultancy, and is aimed at supporting VCS groups to generate income from untapped or underexploited resources.
