Older People's Advocate

 NCVS is seeking applications for the above post to develop an Older People's Advocacy Service

 The Older People's Advocacy Co-ordinator will develop and provide advocacy for Older People in Newcastle.

 Previous direct experience of advocacy is essential and working with older people is hugely desirable.

 The post is either for 28 hours or 35 hours as we have 1 day of Independent Mental Health Advocacy work also available (please see details in application pack).

 Occasional out of hours work is required. A flexitime system is in operation.

 £24,646 - £26,276 p.a. pro rata.

 The closing date for completed application forms is 3rd February 2012 midday.

We are also looking for sessional workers to work as Independent Mental Health Advocates. We particularly require male IMHA's to work with patients who require a male advocate.
