Equality in Health Conference

Equality North East are holding a conference at St James' Park Newcastle (12th September 10.00am – 4.00pm) which addressess issues in Equality in Health and learn more about the role of Healthwatch England which will launch October this year.
The conference will be a mixture of theme based workshops and keynote speakers, including Paul Johnstone Muckle LLP and Cate Quinn Healthwatch England.
Workshops will focus on four seperate themes - Equality issues in Commissioning Healthcare; Human Rights in Health Care; Improving Access to Health linked to Protected Characteristics; and Monitoring and using data.
